Stockton is located on a unique stretch of the eastern Australian coastline on the northern shores of Newcastle Harbour. Based on a sand peninsula, Stockton is surrounded by the ocean, harbour and estuary which provide magnificent water attractions.

Connecting Stockton to the other side of the harbour, a 5 minute ferry ride takes you to the heart of Newcastle's Central Business District.Stockton has two modern boat ramps, kilometres of open beach and dunes which supports four wheel driving, a breakwater for leisurely strolls and fishing, and a highly rated caravan park located right on the beach and across from an Olympic size swimming pool.

Stockton is also situated an easy drive from the spectacular water attractions of Port Stephens and Nelson Bay, the renowned Hunter Valley vineyard region and a short distance to Newcastle Airport which offers flights to many major cities & regions throughout the eastern states of the country.
